Terms and conditions
Updated: July 1, 2026
Section 1 Scope
These terms and conditions apply to all contracts between Finny, the provider, and users, the customers, for the Finny app and related services.
Section 2 Contract formation
The contract is formed when the customer registers using a supported sign-in method, such as email and password, email link, email code, Google, or passkey. The customer confirms that they are of legal age and have full legal capacity.
Section 3 Services
Finny provides a platform for managing receipts and warranties. The Free plan includes storage for up to 5 receipts per month and email reminders. The Pro plan adds features such as unlimited receipts, SMS reminders, and 1-click claims. The current product page lists the exact features.
Section 4 Prices and payment
The Free plan is free of charge. For the Pro plan, the prices shown on the website at the time of contract formation apply. Billing is monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. Statutory VAT is included in the listed prices. The small business rule under Section 19 UStG does not apply at this time.
Section 5 Cancellation
The customer may cancel the contract at the end of the relevant billing period at any time. Cancellation is possible in the app settings or by email to hallo@fnny.app. Finny may cancel the contract with 30 days' notice to the end of the relevant billing period. Finny may cancel immediately for good cause, such as misuse.
Section 6 Right of withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving a reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date the contract is formed. To exercise this right, you must tell us clearly, for example by email, that you want to withdraw from the contract.
Section 7 Availability
Finny aims to keep the services highly available but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance work is scheduled outside peak times whenever possible.
Section 8 Liability
Finny has unlimited liability for injury to life, body, or health, and for other damage caused by intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty. For other damage, Finny is liable only when essential contractual obligations are breached. These are obligations that make proper performance of the contract possible.
Finny does not accept liability for the accuracy of automatic receipt recognition. The customer must check the detected data, including store, price, and warranty period.
Section 9 Changes to these terms
Finny may amend these terms. Customers will be informed by email at least 30 days before changes take effect. If the customer does not object within that period, the changes are deemed accepted.
Section 10 Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention. The place of jurisdiction is Bremen if the customer is a merchant. If any provision of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
